The Culinary Club’s session
The Culinary Club’s session was held with a purpose to spread knowledge about food through teaching and exploring the different aspects of the Culinary Arts and to inspire learners to pursue their culinary dreams. 38 enthusiastic learners from Grades VI to IX shared their views and expectations of the club with Ms. Anu and other teachers. A presentation explaining various cooking terms were discussed. We also had an exciting session with the club members on preparing a recipe on ‘Hung curd fruit salad’. As the recipe was demonstrated they had firsthand experience of how to prepare hung curd authentically. Learners enjoyed the fruit salad with the promise to try it at home. Culinary club journal instructions were given and the learners dispersed after planning an exciting schedule for the academic year involving basic cooking skills, experiments, innovations and fun.
