Nurturing at JBCN

Nurturing at JBCN

AtJBCN International School, we understand that our pre primary learners require attentive pastoral care. We ensure that our pre primary teachers are caring, fun loving and capable of multi-tasking and taking on various roles during the day. Our programme and nurturing environment ensure that the children have a sense of security, a sense of belonging and most importantly, develop a love for learning.

We have an open communication policy between the faculty and the parents through the Almanac, quarterly Academic Orientations, Progress Review Days and more. We encourage parents to share their concerns, their child’s achievements at home and progress with us on a regular basis. We believe that the school and parents need to be partners to ensure that the learners are getting the best.

As our learners grow in our programme, their needs from their teachers may change; however, they continue to thrive in a nurturing and secure environment. Once learners have a sense of belonging, they feel comfortable enough to explore uncharted territories and challenge themselves. At this stage, our teachers are academic partners for the learners, but they also take on the mantle of guiding and counselling them, always making sure that our learners are able to navigate the changes and challenges that are a part of growing up. As learners grow older, they start developing strong opinions of their own. At JBCN, we ensure that we have strong faculty for every subject, who make the learning environment vibrant, lively and dynamic so learners are constantly driven to challenge themselves.
