I hope that while you navigate through the pages of our website, you will learn more about who we are and our perspective on the future of the world.
At JBCN, we believe that our learners are an invaluable member of the school community. We aspire to make our learners feel happy and confident as we prepare and equip them for life. Our team of educators provide a caring and nurturing learning environment where learners feel safe and secure to develop to their full potential. Our learning experiences include intentional, social-emotional-cognitive stimuli designed to keep the learners engaged, to make learning fun, meaningful and authentic. We strongly believe in the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”; and we look forward to being your partners in raising your child.
Critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration play a major role in the 21st Century and are the core elements of our learning experiences. As a result, our learners become excellent communicators and feel very comfortable presenting in front of large audiences. They are prepared to excel at board exams (IGCSE and IBDP), for college and job interviews, and to find creative solutions to current and even non-existing problems. Our co-curricular and value-added activities are the ideal extension of our robust academic programme and nourish the Mind, Body, and Soul of our learners.
My personal educational philosophy is to help the leaders of tomorrow develop the skills they need to solve problems that do not exist yet, to be flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing world and to become responsible world citizens that are globally minded, show empathy and are invested in making the world a better place for everyone.
