Regional Day Celebration

For our ongoing topic on India and Our World, the Jr. Kg. learners had a Regional day celebration. The Homeroom teachers were dressed up as people of the north and of the west.

We celebrated the festivals of Baisakhi and Navratri respectively. The classroom was divided in to Northern Region and Western Region. We had a set up of dholaks, pinwheels, kites and traditional Punjabi attire for the Northern region. For the other half, we had bandhani dupattas, dandiyas and traditional Gujrati attire in class. The food served to the learners (samosas and white dhoklas) also had a flovour of the respective regions.
