We are now PASCH school

We are glad to announce that we are now a PASCH school. What does that mean? Well it means more opportunities coming our way from Goethe Institute, Germany.

PASCH stands for the "Schools: Partners for the Future" initiative. It is a global network of some 1,800 schools that place a high value on German. In Mumbai we have 3 schools and 2 colleges that have been recognised as PASCH, our school being one of them. a PASCH school, our learners and teachers will now be able to attend workshops, receive scholarships organised by Goethe in India in Germany and organise a student exchange programme with schools.

JBCN was selected as the perfect choice for a PASCH school as our learners had been actively participating in the Fit in Deutsch exams since 5 years and had achieved commendable results. The PASCH MOU was signed in the presence of Frau Beate Weber, former head of the language department at Max Mueller Bhavan, Herr Bjorn Ketels, Director, Goethe Mumbai, Maria Einig, Dep. Consul General along with our Director Principal and Deputy Principal. Our first 2 projects as a PASCH school this year are the Youth Course in Hinterzarten in Germany and the regional German camp in Chennai during this week.

Our learners Amal Gogari and Trisha Shetty are currently in Germany for the Youth course from the 11 th till the end of this month. They will be attending language courses during their stay there while Harmony Kothari and Nida Aslam are a part of the regional camp along with Ms Swati Pusalkar.
