Author Talk with Ms Zarin Virji

Author of “Gopal’s Gully” and Head of Universal High School, Ms Zarin Virji recently conducted an interactive ‘Author Talk’ for our VI-VIII graders. “Gopal’s Gully” is a riveting story encompassing diversity in lifestyles, relationships and beliefs. It beautifully showcases the human spirit of resilience and unity in the time of crisis. The learners were hooked on to her session especially as the theme of the storyline catered to the UN’s ​Sustainable Development Goals​. It was truly an insightful experience for our learners as they were also taught to write Haiku – a Japanese form of poetry.
