Pre-Primary

The school environment plays a significant role in the development of learners. Transitioning into an unfamiliar environment and learning a new routine can be challenging and overwhelming for both learner and parents. The preprimary years are the formative years of a learner's life. They develop distinct and unique personalities in the preprimary years. We believe that the transition to a preprimary school can be made easy and comfortable for the learners if they get the right environment, curriculum, and nurturing. The facilitators being versatile take on myriad roles making sure they multitask the role of a teacher and be a mother nurturing and caring for the little ones. We have a safe, secure, and hygienic learning environment. We have a zero-tolerance approach towards any kind of bullying or discrimination and always ensure the physical and emotional safety of the learners. We work collaboratively with the parents and create an environment where the learners feel safe, secure, and happy. The concept of an open communication policy between the faculty and the parents creates a strong bond and collaboration. Communication is done through various mediums such as the almanac, quarter orientations, progress review days and so on. We encourage parents to share their concerns, the learners' achievement at home with us on a regular basis. We believe that the school and parents work hand in hand to ensure that the learners are getting the best.

Primary

We recognise the importance of socio-emotional well-being in our young learners and are dedicated to creating an inclusive and non-judgemental environment where the learners’ emotional needs are met, fostering a nurturing, and supporting atmosphere that promotes their growth and development. By cultivating a sense of acceptance and respect, we encourage learners to freely express themselves and share their thoughts and ideas without fear of judgement. This freedom to be authentic allows them to build strong relationships with both peers and educators, fostering a sense of belonging and creating a sense of community within our classrooms. By establishing positive and trusting relationships, our educators create a foundation of support and guidance, empowering learners to take risks, embrace challenges, and engage in their learning journey with enthusiasm. Our teachers collaborate closely with parents and by maintaining open lines of communication and working in partnership, ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and celebrated for their individuality.

Secondary

At JBCN International School, Borivali, our goal is to equip learners with the necessary tools to thrive not just academically, but also socially and emotionally, helping them to become independent thinkers, capable of taking ownership of their learning and crafting their own path to success. We take a learner-centric approach, recognising that every learner has their own unique needs and learning styles, and strive to provide an environment that is inclusive and supportive. Our Friend Philosopher and Guide program ensures that each learner has access to a trusted adult who can offer guidance and support as they navigate the complexities of adolescence.

AS and A Levels

Our learners develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success at university and in their future careers. The FPG (Friend, Philosopher and Guide) program in school aims to provide pastoral care to our learners. Our faculty mentors provide them with all the necessary guidance and support to face the complexities of the rigorous program they undergo. The life skills sessions help the socioeconomic well fare of the learners. Our Learner Support Centre works effectively to ensure the learners’ well-being. They are provided with ample support to increase their ability to understand, use, and manage their own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflicts. The program emphasise on Learner leadership and Learner independence.

We believe in inclusive education – removing learning barriers and unlocking each learner's full potential. Our programme is supported by a dedicated team of counsellors and Special Educators, who work together to provide personalised support for each learner. Our counsellors help to address any emotional or behavioural challenges that may be hindering their progress. Our Special Educators provide remedial support in reading, writing, problem solving, helping learners to develop the foundational skills they need to succeed. We take a collaborative approach, involving learners, parents, teachers, school heads, and specialised therapists in tailoring an education plan for each learner.

We're committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where all learners can thrive, regardless of their unique challenges or learning differences.
