At JBCN International School, Parel, career guidance goes beyond university admissions to preparing learners for meaningful, purpose-driven futures. From the start of their IB or IGCSE journey, learners follow personalised pathways supported by our in-house university counselling team, combining expert mentoring with data-driven planning. We guide students through subject choices, portfolio building, assessment strategies, interview readiness, and global career exploration.
This ongoing partnership has helped our graduates secure offers from leading universities worldwide, including Stanford, MIT, LSE, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Cornell, and King's College London, as well as top Indian institutions such as Ashoka University, FLAME University, ATLAS SkillTech University, and Krea University—reflecting both strong academic preparation and confidence to succeed in India and on the global stage.
Our Careers & University Guidance Centre guides learners toward university pathways that align with their strengths, aspirations and future goals. The journey begins in Grade 9 with self-discovery, followed by an understanding of undergraduate systems in India and abroad, nurturing intellectual curiosity, and building strong academic and personal profiles through Grades 10 and 11.
We support applications across global systems, helping learners navigate varied requirements and rising competition. Through IGCSE in 9th and 10th and the IBDP in Grades 11 and 12, learners develop the skills, habits and attitudes essential for university success. In Grade 12, they finalise and submit their applications, supported by personalised counselling and collaboration between learners, parents and teachers.

Our Career Guidance Programme supports learners from Middle School onward, helping them discover their strengths, interests, and emerging aspirations. In Grades 6–8, learners engage in foundational career awareness through interactive sessions, interest assessments, and skill-building workshops. We regularly host Career Days, bring industry professionals into classrooms to connect learning with the real world, and take learners on field trips to workplaces and universities to broaden their exposure. As learners move into High School, the programme deepens to include personalised counselling, subject selection guidance, university planning, and advanced career exploration opportunities. Our goal is to empower every learner to make informed, confident decisions about their future, starting early and building on each year.
