The mission of the International Baccalaureate® is to cultivate young individuals who are inquisitive, well-informed, and compassionate, and who contribute to building a more harmonious and equitable world through cross-cultural comprehension and consideration. To achieve this goal, the organization collaborates with educational institutions, governments, and global entities to design demanding programmes of global education and rigorous evaluation. These programmes motivate learners worldwide to become engaged, empathetic, and lifelong learners who recognize that diverse perspectives and opinions are equally valid.

The Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course is a core element of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) that focuses on critical thinking and reflecting on the nature of knowledge, rather than on learning a specific body of knowledge. It requires at least 100 hours of class time and aims to encourage learners to explore the question "how do you know?" in various contexts to develop a lifelong interest in knowledge.
The extended essay is a mandatory, externally assessed academic writing piece of up to 4,000 words, which requires independent research on a topic chosen by the learner. It is designed to encourage high-level research, writing, intellectual exploration, and personal discovery. learners receive guidance and support from a supervisor and are required to undertake three mandatory reflection sessions, including a short interview, after completing the essay.
Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is a fundamental aspect of the DP that promotes personal and interpersonal learning through its holistic approach. CAS consists of three strands: creativity, activity, and service. CAS experiences can be a single event or a series of events, while CAS projects are collaborative series of sequential experiences lasting at least one month. Both singular and ongoing experiences are valuable, but a meaningful CAS programme requires at least one CAS project.
The career counselling programme includes activities such as providing guidance on subject selection, mapping interests to higher education options both domestically and internationally, advising on high school programmes and college admissions, helping build successful college profiles, facilitating recommendation letters, organizing career fairs, and arranging visits from university delegates. This department helps learners and parents understand how to prepare for college application and admission and build a successful college profile over time. The department also organizes a comprehensive career fair with representatives from various universities and career fields, and throughout the year, it arranges visits by delegates from national and international universities.
