CAS Exhibition

On May 29th, 2024, JBCN International School, Parel, proudly hosted its first-ever CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) and Learner-Led Clubs Exhibition, titled "Diverse Journeys, Shared Impact." This groundbreaking event marked the culmination of a year of dedicated learning, growth, and community service by our passionate learners.

The day began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the spirit of service. Our learners, alongside the CAS Coordinator, delivered a heartfelt welcome speech that set the tone for a day of celebration, reflection, and inspiration. The Chief Guest, Dr. Shilpi Sharma from the Oscar Foundation, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered an inspiring address on the importance of sports in transforming the lives of underprivileged children.

One of the highlights of the event was the insightful panel discussion on "Exploring the Intersection of Service Learning and CAS." Esteemed panelists, including Ms. Aayushi from Jai Vakeel Foundation, Mr. Dilip Jain from dJED Foundation, Mr. Abodh Aras from Welfare of Stray Dogs, and Dr. Sanjay Roy, Principal of Greenlawns School, shared their valuable experiences and perspectives on how service learning can be a powerful tool for social change.

The learners then showcased their talents through a vibrant performance, reflecting the creativity and enthusiasm that CAS fosters. The Exhibition & Gallery Walk, held on the 6th floor, provided an opportunity for attendees to explore the diverse projects and initiatives undertaken by the learners throughout the year. From environmental conservation efforts to social outreach programs, the exhibits highlighted the transformative impact of CAS on both the learners and the communities they served.

Interactive activities organized by the learner-led clubs further engaged visitors, allowing them to experience first-hand the creativity and innovation that our students bring to their extracurricular pursuits.

The event was a resounding success, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to making it a memorable day. "Diverse Journeys, Shared Impact" not only celebrated the achievements of our learners but also reaffirmed our school's commitment to nurturing compassionate, socially responsible global citizens.
