Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is an integral component of the educational journey at JBCN International School and a core component of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Our mission is to nurture inquiring young minds through EduCreative experiences and unique teaching approaches that integrate the best of national and international curricula. Our holistic program is designed to develop the mind, body, and soul of every learner, fostering a lifelong love for learning.
CAS at JBCN provides learners with diverse opportunities to engage with their communities and make a meaningful impact. Rooted in Indian values, our learning experiences empower learners to become successful leaders and effective communicators, adept at navigating a culturally diverse and ever-changing world.
As an essential part of the IBDP, CAS challenges learners to engage in experiential learning beyond the classroom, fostering personal and interpersonal growth. It encourages learners to reflect on their experiences, develop resilience, and acquire essential life skills such as teamwork, adaptability, critical thinking, and leadership. Through CAS, learners learn the importance of balancing academic rigor with meaningful action, preparing them for both university life and future careers.
We take pride in our partnerships with various organizations such as the Welfare of Stray Dogs and Jai Vakeel Foundation, allowing learners to contribute actively through initiatives like beach clean-up drives, tree plantation campaigns, and books and toy donation programs. Our learner-led clubs, including the Checkmate Club, Studology Club, Music Mania Club, Art Club, Dance Club, STEM Club, Book and Literature Club, Ecospire, Outreach Oasis, and Interact Club, provide platforms for learners to pursue their passions and collaborate with peers.
Additionally, our partnership with the dJED Foundation for watershed management in Chinchwadi village underscores our commitment to sustainable community initiatives. Through CAS trips and service-learning projects, we provide immersive learning experiences that broaden learners' perspectives and foster empathy, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Service learning plays a crucial role in CAS, as learners develop a deep understanding of societal issues and take meaningful action to create positive change.
