At JBCN International School, our collaboration with the dJED Foundation is a commitment to a long-term partnership aimed at fostering meaningful learning experiences and community empowerment. As we embark on multiple visits to Chinchwadi village throughout the year, we recognize the importance of experiencing and understanding the village's challenges across different seasons - from the scarcity of water during the summer to the abundance brought by the monsoon and the hardships faced during the winter. These diverse experiences will provide our students with a comprehensive understanding of the village's watershed dynamics and the real challenges encountered by its residents. Through these experiences, we aim to empower our students to become agents of change by brainstorming sustainable solutions to address water scarcity, promote watershed management practices, and support the village community in overcoming their challenges.
