Academic Enrichment

Academic IBDP Students

Alongside their chosen subjects, JBCN A Level learners engage with enrichment components that deepen research ability and intellectual independence — the qualities that distinguish strong university applicants.

Global Perspectives & Research: A skills-based programme that develops critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, and the ability to analyse global issues from multiple viewpoints, building the research and argumentation skills universities look for.

Independent Project Qualification (IPQ): A self-directed research project that allows learners to investigate a topic of their choice in depth. The IPQ nurtures independent inquiry, advanced academic writing, and intellectual discovery, giving learners genuine ownership of their work.

Service Learning: A structured commitment to meaningful service that develops empathy, leadership, and social responsibility, ensuring learners grow in character alongside academic achievement.
